Who Invented Television Wikipedia

Who invented television?
Wikipedia is not. I'm not looking for a yes-paste or my own knowledge. I am interested in how many people can not answer this quesiton without looking up on Wikipedia. I seems that television is as important as the phone, why is it that we all know who invented the telephone, but we know Who invented television?
