Do I have a flat screen TV from the beginning February 17?
I heard that in February 17.2009, the era of analog television in the United States end the nation's power * television to complete its transition to an all digital system. I have DIRECTV service and I have a bucket of television. (Standard Defenition) So I have to buy a flat screen TV or mines work perfectly?
DirecTV is already incorporates a digital converter to work with your analog TV. The only people affected are those who use rabbit ears and anyone who receives only an analog cable. These people will need to obtain converter either your cable company or your local electronics store. You are safe, however. (PS Have a cable ready TV does not accept a signal digital.)
