new TV standards?
I heard there's a new federal standards to ensure violent or mature TV "Will air from 6: 10:00 pm. Has anyone heard? I am a mother of six children, and many I can appreciate the impact the program has had on violence youth of today … I can not help but wonder if the parents will be held accountable. Are we responsible to know what our children are watching? Now I'm not saying that children do not go into the backs of parents … but once again, education is where honesty and respect for coming! When my son to me … (Y when he lied to me) He was reprimanded immediately, and immediately felt guilty. I used it as an opportunity for education, and although the boys are naturally curious about guns and violence … I make sure my children are too exposed (video games, TV .. etc ..), but my husband and my choice. Not really I think this rule because it is not teaching … What do you think?
Although I agree with you that the TV control is the job of parents, I do not agree on "minor" Programming from 6a-10p. I would support programs to limit violent television, mostly because I do not think we need so much violence on television. If a person really thinks they need to be on TV, I would like to be late at night. Actually I have a problem with advertising, especially for "horror" movies. Seem to arise from time to time and during the programming of perfection. Stopped watching Comedy Central, as they seem to have much of the extracts that scare me, I do not want to think about what they do for my 5 year old son. Anyway, I agree that ultimately is the responsibility of looking TV of a parent, I do not agree with the programming does not limit because I feel at each stage, we can make a kinder, gentle world is a step in the right direction!
