The Television In The 1950s

the television in the 1950s
= Costly television advertising in the 1950s and 60s?

a question I'm trying to find the answer to (but failing) "Why that television advertising so expensive to produce and air in 1950 and 1960? "

I have read this article (http://www.museum.tv/eotvsection.php?entrycode=advertising) and said nothing about the costs for expensive TV advertising. He said, however, how much is spent on television advertising today. Another point to make is: AC Nielson how they measured the number of viewers watching a particular network and show a particular time. This has helped companies through the slots between the very popular shows. Basically more for your money. Again, television advertising has become more expensive when ads are placed in one minute 30 seconds (also referred to in it).
