Television in the 21 centry not only in entertainment
Television in the 21st century …
It is not only entertainment
In more than sixty years since television has been adapted for commercial use and began appearing in homes, television has always been primarily about entertainment, no education.
The first sample included police dramas such as "Highway Patrol" with Broderick Crawford HDD, quiz shows like "Beat the Clock" with Bud Collier and funny half-hour full-time and live the "variety" shows with the likes of Sid Caesar, Milton Berle (Uncle Mitte) and the great Jackie Gleason. However, there was very little – or not – of programming focused on education. The reason is obvious …
The whole concept of television had one goal: to entertain people in their homes, their attention and when we – that sell products and services. After all, companies that have sponsored programs to pay the bills. It is important that television executives (Make this critically important) that Sponsors make money.
The Executive felt time and still believe today, that attracts public entertainment and education and educational television is not always fun. The hearings, the higher the better, of course, help developers business selling television products and services and make money. It's as simple as that … and always has been.
However, former locked-in mindset of executives and network television programmers are beginning to change. Because education television has become entertainment. Oh, he can not say that all shows that attempts to educate viewers is fun or interesting to watch. It is still true.
But many shows Today they are built around teaching and education are welcome. The people who produce these emissions is essential to understand that the shows they sell to networks shows that to receive a television time slot should be fun … or there will be viewers (or at least some viewers).
So … Now in the 21st century, shows that aim to provide information or instruct or educate (and many of them) have found a way to captivate and engage viewers of entertainment programming.
It is evident in the performances that cover the history of mankind … show and tell how products are manufactured … cover political discourse and news … teach the government … Enter U.S. courts and more.
It began as a sort of "room classes in a picture tube, "but today, the 21st century, educational television is ultimately entertaining.
