Can I use a computer screen as a TV?
I have a 23 "computer screen 1080p no tuner or speakers built in. Is there some sort of external tuner that I can buy to use the monitor as a TV (which allows me to connect cable to the case of some, then go to the screen)? And how would he handle the output from the speakers?
If you service digital HDTV cable, all you need do is connect the monitor to the digital cable box in HD. Digital HD cable box DVI or HDMI outputs in general, so you can connect directly to a 1080p monitor. HD digital cable box serves as a TV tuner. It connects to the monitor via a digital video cable with the right ends. Either HDMI, DVI-DVI or HDMI. Hope this helps.
