Why is my TV remote work only part time?
I have a 20-inch Sony TV that is about 6 years. The only remote works sporadically, without rhyme or reason. I changed the batteries and tried a universal remote and a Sony VCR combo from a distance with the same results. May work when you turn it on, which does not work for a couple of hours, and if I have luck could start work. He works about 20 percent of the time.
