What mechanisms can be used to send an infrared signal to a remote computer in a closet 60 feet away?
I have a TV flat screen mounted on the wall with a CAT5 cable, and cable and wire in the 16-2 office equipment where I want to point the remote end. Anyone can link me the computer I need to send the infrared signal wire already on the wall of the cabinet of the team? In the closet is a satellite receiver and a DVD player at a time has to be controlled remotely.
More people an RF remote control for this sort of thing. RF does not have line of sight to control equpment. The Logitech Harmony 890 all documents (link below).
