Writing blocks and the tendency to procrastinate writing my novel, the writers out there with suggestions?
I go into the Chapter 16 my novel, but I've spent the last week cruise to the bottom of the web and satellite TV. Movies about writers attract me, but lost its momentum. This happened to you? How can we fight? Since the new scheme (the basic ideas and character development), but I feel lethargic and reluctant to writing. I have read parts of it to my husband and believes there is good and strong criticism, but now is asked for the pages of every day and I did not. All the tricks of the trade I should know? Serious answers only please. I know I should get off my ass and just write, but I need clues as to what other writers are faced with this dillema.
Personally for me reading makes me want to write. As I read the work of someone who believes that the great author, I remember why I want to do. Usually what happens is that I have read a chapter or a paragraph or even a single phrase and the image that my mind paints a call to me to make my own mind stimulating work. I have some books, chapters or paragraphs to which I refer several times a week so that I can remember what I'm doing.
