Rush saw a video today and saw these words assembly of the Temples of Syrinx "was subject of this article. Recently, I was showing a work of art that had a Christian colleagues. I kept thinking I was going to shout it, "Hey, I'm doing for the Lord!" But I bit my tongue.
Since then, although I thought the time and many others in my life where Christians disapproved of art, music, television and movies that I love. I, sometimes, on the knuckles and tried to live my life trying to enjoy a short list of activities acceptable to Christians around me. I got rid of my all rock music, movies, secular order, confined to my artistic talents to create jobs representing religious themes. The only books I read are religious texts and places that I was Christian or events, if they were secular events, I went with a group of Christians.
He was good with all this because I wanted to be a good Christian that I realized it was not just books, movies and television who wanted to censor, but even so my individuality.
It soon became apparent that they wanted to control what he thought and what I said. The atmosphere was oppressive, where if I do not agree on a spiritual level I was accused of "living in itself." I said I was rebellious doubt that the accepted doctrine. I came to see this dogma was more important than truth. If I wanted to be I had to do and say what he said.
Needless to say, I dusted off my feet when I finally left the church system. I knew it was not the way God intended life. He gave us all a spirit and flair that he expects us to use. God never asks us to deny our ability to reason.
"Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow, though they be red like crimson, shall be as wool. "
Let us reason together. Not only does God want us to accept Him as Lord, but he expects us to use our intelligence to make that decision and not leave behind our uniqueness. If you think that every time they have been declared in accordance with the doctrine, God told you so … or was it a human?
