Why is that revenue generated by the Canadian NHL teams is much higher than their U.S. counterparts?

I throw this out there because I keep seeing references wrong in this post about how the NHL would love to start franchises in the United States because the Canadian team does not make money. Opposite true. Kevin McGrane of the Toronto Star: The six Canadian teams, representing 20 percent of the team Liga-30, representing 33.3 percent of all income in the NHL. This means that the Canadian team fans cough by an estimated 733 million (all figures U.S.) to $ 2,200,000,000 of the league revenue. If a family buys season ticket, people who buy sweaters, advertisers buy Arena signage, business television and radio broadcast rights to purchase and parking their cars in lots that belong to a club, the Canadian teams have economic power. It is not always cold "up" in Canada, so we have more ice. I suggest you get a card and you will see that most of the Southern Ontario is equal to the northern part of California.
