Enjoy the only boutique hotel Hilton Arsenal property
I wanted to see the Hilton Auckland after restore to its fulfillment, and well worth the visit. The popular bow Suites, so named because they are shaped like the prow of a ship overlooking the Waitemata Harbour, have been pretty facelift.
The interior designed by Catherine Stormont of HBO and EMTD contemporary feel, to blend into the overall design of the hotel has been called the "New Hilton" in their support clean lines and minimalist décor, artistic accents interspersed with traditional Mauri. There is a feeling of being in the cabin cruiser international luxury presidential, and its proximity to the port, the cruise ship arrival and departure below your patio, adds to this feeling.
Furniture and fabrics tone deaf, "bridge" Italian leather furniture. The presidential suite has two plasma televisions, dining for four, a table, dresser, chair and side table on the wrap around deck, wrap around the corner of the sofa chair, lounge and outdoor dining, large bathroom with bath, shower, toilet, floor glass doors overlooking the sea from all angles only electronic tones, faint transparent white curtains to reduce the rate of the Suns, but to allow in the reflections of the sea
Glass sculpture artists and vases that adorned my room, including the residents of Simon Kaan, Graham Fletcher, and Heather Straka. Part of the update includes the concept that every space should have a touch of authenticity. Team has also been made Crabtree Evelyn "source range, an improvement over past elections.
Hilton Auckland is 300 meters from the center of town, near the Viaduct Harbour. It was officially opened by Prime Minister Helen Clark in June 2001 and is located in the northeast corner of Princes Wharf. There are 160 deluxe rooms and six suites. It is not a "small" hotel, but has the feel of a boutique hotel. In 2005 he was appointed Top New Zealand CBD Hotel year.
White restaurant and Bellini, the lobby bar were created by Dan Kwan of Tribeca, based design firm in Singapore. His intention was to provide an environment that would be a blank canvas for Executive Chef Bernard Bernabe to paint his culinary palate, and minimalist shades blue and green of the bay reflecting through floor to ceiling windows.
Bernard Bernabe, the very name is a mouthful, was born in the Philippines. His family emigrated to New Zealand when he was nine. Now, at age 28, was the driving force of the winning team in white was honored with the Restaurant of the Year in 2004.
Director General, John Ingram is a man with a soft, sweet voice that has much to say. He treated me details about the local cultural community and life in Auckland, and its importance for the host community at large to see this Hilton in its light he deserves a "new Hilton" as he called it. With 160 rooms and six luxurious suites, hardly can be called a boutique hotel, but I agree with him that he has that feeling. The staff is very professional and insinuating the food is excellent and modern environment and lightweight.
My favorite feature is a pool of glass sticking out so that with glasses under water, the illusion of swimming in the sea
