Educational Television For Children

educational television for children
How is the education of the children's television?

To me a review of research at the Research Meeting about: How education is children's television? I decided to check the programs between the ages of 1-8. What are your views? Need peoples' views and ideas please. Do you think children learn from television? At what age? TV help or hurt education for children small? If you have any links or additional information at me, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading everyone. We look forward to hearing from you soon x

The TV should be supervised for younger children! It can be educational – a lot is crap in my humble opinion! Sit with a child and read a book or do a puzzle is much more educational for a child than the previous plonking TV! The social interaction between parent and child is always beneficial! (OK this comes from someone who has 2 degrees of Child Development has worked with children and I have two of my own now – one of whom learned to read and could not do 100 pieces puzzle at the age of 3 years!) Television is too passive – to learn properly and to stimulate the minds of children need active activities! I that television should be limited to a maximum 30 minutes a day! Remove the dough and otherwise have fun creating! Hope this is useful for testing – the best PS has not bought a TV about 6 years ago – We have not had one for about eight years, while our children were growing up!
