Is it possible to be a television journalist for broadcasting an extensive network without studying?

That would be my dream career, but broadcasting some classes that are offered are too technical. I am currently studying a major in Journalism-News Editorial concentration. Not is broadcast journalism major at my school but I work in the television station of the school and the radio station. Do you know if you can get a job, even without take courses in broadcasting?

Because you're a great journalist, which should be enough to get you in the door. Recommend practices – many of them! And start now. The industry Diffusion is difficult to reach – I know from personal experience. Good luck, and do not be afraid to try other markets outside their home. The Midwest is always a good starting point – there are many local stations out there that hire college graduates. You should start to gain experience before even dream of going to a top 10 market.
