The important thing is what most recommend?
Hello! I am currently a freshman at a university in Texas, and I have enough time difficult to decide the top. Actually I'm caught between two: communication and mathematics. I love both areas, and I know that two of them offer many opportunities in the labor market. I took courses in both fact and very good at all, so I'm a little confused. With my degree in communications, I'd go to broadcasting television, public relations, marketing, or education. However, with a degree in mathematics, I like to teach or do something else, I know that the degree lends itself to many different things. I want to know what you think is best. Which do you recommend and why? Thanks!
Well, I'm a Math so I personally recommend mathematics. It is certainly a title that opens many opportunities. This is a decent money too much (because hardly anyone can do it, and computers can not do everything, despite what people like to think). UT is assuming you are going to UT Austin (which you said UT, and not the campus), children have a great math department (I think John Tate is there, but there must be about 80 now) and would be very desirable in the world of mathematics with a degree in math in there (if you decide to apply to higher education, for example). Therefore, I recommend the math, even if you are really the only can answer these questions (do not know personally, I can do a better assessment on what I have).
