The town of Mayberry brings to mind the image of a small town in America in the 1960s. In this classic picture is a red-haired boy walking with a fishing rod. Walking along side him is his father, sheriff of the city of television in the city.
Almost everyone knows Opie and his father, Sheriff Andy Andy Griffith Show. The show began in 1960 and lasted eight seasons. Today, more than forty years after the last one registered, Mayberry continues to air daily in syndication. People continue to enjoy the warm humor and simple stories.
