Who of you remember "The Untouchables"?
This may seem a very silly question to some, but there are many people who are so raised on MTV, Disney, Hollywood Entertainment and reality shows that black and white TV many seniors have been forgotten. I just purchased the first half of a season of "The Untouchables" last week and I can not tell what kind of nostalgia that brought me. The series has stopped broadcasting the year of my birth, but when Cable television was in its infancy, replacements to play late at night. Yes, today we see "The Untouchables" as the top drama, but the style of the day. And yes sensational stories have been grossly over, and yes, Eliot Ness did not really clean all U.S. Desi Arnaz wanted us to believe, but OMG the stories I have played for a young man like me. "Who else loved the show and the redemption of the series on DVD? (Incidentally, the second part Season 1 will be available in December. Season One with the film of Al Capone's driver is on sale)
The Untouchables was a history lesson for many of us. I never really heard of Capone coming to television, then teachers started giving us assignments based on this period of history American. And Robert Stack's Eliot Ness absolutely gorgeous. I frankly do not make television like that. Once a popular show, any program that has just released her. At least in those days, we had real options – without cable.
