It really makes me very angry. As a country we are in the red by millions, the NHS can not afford enough staff or any equipment they need, schools are closed and our children in overcrowded classrooms and schools over there are not enough teachers Wages are so low, millions of Britons live in poverty (which are classified as in poverty if their annual household income is something like £ 16,000 or less) the elderly and single parents have to live only € 100 per week and yet they are allowed to spend taxpayers' money to give it a second home, travel expenses and holidays. There must be a single mother of six weeks for one of their tables to eat, but she and her children do not eat anything or paid any bills now! (Yes, I probably know would be dead by then and that nobody is deprived of food just to buy a painting, but this was just an example) No one denies that members should not receive salary, they do there jobs, good or bad is not the issue. The point of this list highlights is "wasteful spending" that they are entitled. I do believe that should have a high salary, they do a very difficult and demanding work, but I do not agree that, in addition to the ridiculously high wages, are also allowed have their houses furnished to them, paid their license …….. A wage must cover all these elements as necessary for the rest of us.
