I think all the TV can be destructive or education – depending on how parents handle the situation. It is important to explain to children what they see. Consider the cartoon Road Runner and 3 Stooges. Both show some form of violence – are considered as traditional television. Parents ultimately have the greatest impact on a child – no TV.
