Contest Rules WHIZ WHIZ-TV began broadcasting May 23, 1953. The original signal is transmitted on channel 50, using a transmitter RCA TTU-1 1000 watts. A year later, the television channel 18 Whiz has changed. Over time, the issuer has been changed in a RCA TTU-12A transmitter.
