Anyone else annoyed about the Vampire Diaries TV preview?

I saw the preview and several other samples of the new The CW series, The Vampire Diaries, based on the series by LJ Smith. No one thinks that this is not like the books? 1) Elena is supposed to be blonde! 2) Bonnie is supposed to have red hair! 3) Where is Meredith? 4) The city is the church has fallen! Mystic Falls or not the other. 5) Who is the man to stay with Stefan? What about pension and Mrs. Flores? 6) Does anyone else think that Stefan and more as it is hot? 7) Elena has no brother! She has a younger sister! Caroline would have dark red hair, right?
