Progressive scan question?
Do not know much about televisions and have a question about "progressive scan" I live in the United Kingdom and on my SD TV, things like games that are NTSC black and white, while comforting to me, that even the color of my games in high definition. If I'm another TV with progressive scan TV to replace my SD would play PAL and NTSC color? Besides, I could give a rough idea what it is progressive scan? Thank you.
The TV is NTSC or PAL. There converters, but if you get an NTSC TV and your console is NTSC and they work together. But the regualr TV does not work, I guess. Progressive scan has nothing to do with NTSC or PAL. Progressive scan is simply a process of how the image is scanned. Most teams have been more interlaced scanning, where the TV scan lines and odd lines thereof. In NTSC there are 525 lines. Progressive Scan will scan all lines at a time and show a complete picture. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Progressive_scan
