It is the music video protected covered by Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI)?
Our church uses to spread throughout the public service access television (including music and special songs). We assume that we were allowed to do that because we have a CCLI license. However, after check the CCLI site and Wikipedia, I saw no mention of the rights of broadcasting all! What should I do? Should I delete all music on the DVD and see the wired? The idea is repugnant to me. The music service is a means – and often the best in their field. http://www.ccli.com/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Copyright_Licensing_International
It certainly seems to cover the subject. Implementation of non-dramatic musical works in a department of the church is exempt from the licensing requirement, but once you pass this performance requires a license. Your options are to get permission from the copyright owner (usually BMI, ASCAP, and / or SESAC) or music delete.
