Cable Television Frequencies

cable television frequencies
I live in Japan, and moved to the United States. Will my TV when I ship to the United States, I can connect to cable?

TV Sony Trinitron Wega KV-one 21DA55, is a Japanese model. Only 3 years and would like to keep it (do not cost more for shipping) if possible and if it will function. Be that both countries use NTSC, but use a different range of frequency spectrum (the FM dial in the United States is the lowest of TV broadcasts end of the spectrum, Japan). Someone told me it did not matter, but if I have connected the cable TV and do not use the free-on-air. Some clarification would be great! I'm more concerned about the frequency (MHz) transmission, and no plugs or electricity that it is easily solved. Both countries use NTSC, but in a slightly different segment of the spectrum. Does it work with only connect the TV cable? Has anyone done a TV of Japan to the United States before when they moved to Japan? As for the DVD, we have a multiregion (0-6) of several systems (NTSC, PAL) DVD player – which is not the problem.

Japan VIF (Video intermediate) frequency is 58.75MHz. American Tuner IVF is 45.75MHz. The cable signal will be processed by the RF receiver. You can not receive certain channels in the report 58.75M 45.75M multiply. It has 7 ~ 8 channels. I suggest you take for U.S. television
