Why American television commercials written with two digits, a slash and a letter ie "10 / 9 c?
I live in Australia, but for information about advertising on U.S. television. Why is written with two digits, a slash and a letter? What does this mean? That is, if a program called "Sunday @ 10/9c ', which means 10:00 a.m. Sunday night on Channel 9? In Australia we have the list time and then the channel (ie 10.30 on channel 10).
This is because U.S. has four different areas (Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific). The 10 means the show starts at 10:00 Eastern and Central has been an hour late this 9c, the show starts at 9:00 CST.
